Covid - Our Year

Can at-home self tests ease our exit from lockdown?

In Germany, at-home self tests are now available on pharmacies. So how uncomfortable are they? If I’m not medically trained, do they give good results? And can I now leave the mask at home? Hanna Linnéa Mödder takes a test and talks to Dr. Sebastian Hoehl, a researcher that published on the accuracy of self-tests by laypersons.

  • Hanna, I absolutly love this video. It`s really nicely explained and the interview fits in amazingly. The process of doing a test is not the nicest but it is necessary! 100/10!

  • So great you were able to interview a medical professional for this! I’ve heard about so many people who were given wrong test results that didn’t make any sense. Communication during Covid-19 has been so tricky, and specially in the UK I think so much has been vague and confusing, so it’s great you did a video on it that explains the process!
